“A Message to the Ummah”
By: ‘Umar, a slave of ﷲ

ﺍﻟﺴﻼﻢﻋﻠﻴﻜﻢ ﻭ ﺮﺤﻤﺔﷲ ﻭﺒﺮﻜﺎﺘﮫ

All Praise is for Allah. We praise Him and seek His help and forgiveness. We seek refuge with Allah from our souls’ evil and our evil deeds. He whom Allah guides none can misguide. And he whom He misguides, none can guide.

I bear witness that there is no god but Allah, alone without a partner. And I bear witness that Mu7amed (s) is His servant and Messenger.

<< “Oh you who believe! Observe your duty to Allah with right observance and die not, except in a state of Islam.” >> Ch. 3 al ‘Imran v. 102

<< “Oh mankind! Be careful of your duty to your Lord, Who created you from a single soul and from it created its mate, and dispersed from both of them many men and women. Be careful of your duty toward Allah in whom you claim (your rights) of one another, and towards the wombs (that bore you). Surely, Allah constantly watches over you.” >> Ch. 4 an-Nisa v. 1

<< “Oh you who believe! Revere Allah and say just words. He will then rectify your deeds and forgive your sins. He who obeys Allah and His Messenger has already attained a great victory.” >> Ch. 33 Al Zhzab v.’s 70-71

“Indeed, the best of speech is Allah’s Book and the best of guidance is Muhammad’s (s) guidance. The worst of affairs are those innovated for every such innovation is an act of misguidance leading to the Fire.” Narrated by Muslim

To proceed: Oh precious ummah, I pray that all of the harm and suffering you encounter will turn into reward and blessings in the shades of Paradise. Verily this dunya is a prison for the Believer and a Paradise for the non-Believer. Once a Jew passed by Imam ash-Shafi’i who was hurrying and struggling behind his donkey loaded with oil. The Jew’s clothes were filthy and his whole manner was repulsive. When the Jew met the Imam who was reclining in the shade and dressed in immaculately clean clothes, he stopped and asked him: “How is it that people can say that the Dunya is the prison of the believer and the Paradise of the disbeliever?” It was as if he was insinuating that those words were not true and that if they were true, then ease should be for the Jew and toil and struggle should be for the Imam who could expect his blessings in the Hereafter. The Imam replied: “Yes, it is true that the Dunya is a prison for the Believer and a Paradise for the Disbeliever, for it is certain that the blessings I enjoy now in fact represent a prison in relation to what awaits me in the Next World. And if you realized what torment awaits you, then you would know that this lower world you now enjoy is in fact a paradise compared to that.” Yet so many of us are hypnotized by this temporary, despicable world. Our aim in this dunya is to be prepared to meet Allah ‘Azza waJal. To become in the category of those whom Allah has bestowed his grace upon, bi idhnillah.

And who are those whom Allah azza wa jal has bestowed His Grace upon? As Allah has said in Surat al Fati7ah v.7 “The way of those on whom You have bestowed your Grace…

We recite Surat al-Fati7ah at least 17 times a day to follow the Straight Path of those Whom Allah has bestowed His Grace. Allah SWT has described them in another verse in Ch. 4 an-Nisaa v.69, “And whoso obey Allah and the Messenger, then they will be in the company of those on whom Allah has bestowed His Grace, of the Prophets, the Truthful, the Martyrs, and the Righteous. And how excellent these companions are!” Why not target or aim to become as the lives of those described in these wonderful verses by always being truthful and increasing in righteous actions. Even though it is true that the best things for us is righteous actions at the end of our lives, we never know when that will be, subh7anAllah. As the Messenger of Allah (s) has said in a hadith that a man would do the actions of the people of Paradise until before ending his life he starts doing the actions of the people of Hell and eventually goes there. And also of another man who did the deeds of the people of Hell until before ending his life he starts to do the actions of the people of Paradise, thus entering Paradise.

I ask Allah to make your best deeds your last ones. Death upon the 7aqq can never be called a defeat as many of our heroes of the Salaf & Khalaf have passed away, such as RasulAllah (s) of course, Hamza bin Abdul Muttalib (r), Tariq bin Ziyad, Omar al Mukhtar, Syed Qutb, Abdullah bin Rawahah (r), Khalid bin al Waleed (r) “Sayfullah”, Sumayah (r), and the list goes on and on. May Allah SWT make us even a hair like these people and I don’t claim anyone to be pious before Allah. And in the end we return to Allah as Allah SWT states Ch. 2 al Baqarah v. 156 “…Truly to Allah we belong and truly to Him we shall return.”

As to those who refuse to believe, Allah swt says about them Ch. 3 al ‘Imran v.’s 196-197, “Let not the free disposal (and affluence) of the disbelievers throughout the land deceive you. A brief enjoyment; then, their ultimate abode is Hell; and worst indeed is that place for rest.” Sub7anAllah, it doesn’t matter how much they celebrate and enjoy this world. In the end, they’ll have Hell as a refuge.

Audhobillah from that! Allahu Akbar the torment oh brothers and sisters. They truly believe their actions are good and their batil is 7aqq. They make the deen seem perverted when it is they who are perverted and spread the perversion all over the world. None of their deeds are accepted and in truth they don’t care about humanity except for a little of it. Centuries of plundering resources of “third” world countries and humiliating the weak of the world. As for giving donations to buy peoples’ hearts, their hypocrisy just cannot be hidden. Allah ‘Azza wa jal has said about their deeds Ch. 18 al-Kahf v.102, “Say: ‘Shall we tell you the greatest losers in respect to their deeds?” v. 104 “Those whose efforts have been wasted in this life while they thought they were acquiring good by their deeds.”

In closing brothers and sisters, I am very delighted of your love for me for Allah’s sake. I, in turn, also truly love you too. I can never lose hope in the nation that produces the likes of Salahudeed al Ayyubi and others. The victorious will be the believers and we need patience as it took the Muslims about 90 years to recover al-Quds under the forces of Salahudeen (r). Under Islam, peace amongst Muslims and non-Muslims flourished. But every time it’s the other way around, for the most part it’s humiliation, imprisonment, exploitation, and oppression. Days always become nights, so change will definitely come. Steadfastness, firmness, certainty, and patience are the ingredients for Allah’s inevitable victory to come.

Until next time insha2Allah.

Your brother,
Abu Jafar ad-Dominikani,
Assalam 3laykum Wara7matullahi, wabarakatuh.
Fi Amanillah.
