Living Large

31 Dec

I don’t know what I’ve done to be so blessed,
to have a great, huge palace,
with my own body guards to protect me.
Thirty feet tall walls topped with barbed wire to keep the riff raff out,
They make me feel like a precious jewel or diamond under constant guard,
I get treated like royalty,
three hot meals a day,
my clothes washed, dried and ironed,
clean towels and bedding being provided on demand,
heating and air conditioning,
everything paid for accommodation, food laundry service, etc,
no electricity bills, no water bills, no gas bills, infact no bills whatsoever,
a personal room,
constant searches to make sure I am not harmed,
monitoring my calls and correspondence to make sure no harm comes to me,
service worthy of seven stars,
I don’t even think the queen gets this type of treatment,
And I don’t even say ‘please’ or ‘thank you’,
I don’t have to work,
forget work I don’t even have to lift a finger,
I’m starting to feel spoilt,
honestly I can’t think of what I did to be so fortunate.
